Heading into her second term, Attorney General Dana Nessel announced two key changes to her team. Fadwa Hammoud will serve as chief deputy of the department. She is a current member of the team, having served four years as Michigan’s 12thSolicitor General.
Filling the role of Solicitor General will be Ann Sharman. She has worked in the department for nearly 18 years, including as an appellate specialist, Assistant Solicitor General, and most recently as Deputy Solicitor General. Prior to joining the department, she clerked for the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
