Water Infrastructure Conference Announced

In order to facilitate discussion on the critical water infrastructure needs in the Great Lakes Basin, the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy is hosting their first-ever Great Lakes Water Infrastructure Conference next spring. The regional conference will identify the water infrastructure challenges faced by the Great Lakes region and discuss solutions to those challenges. Key topics include funding and finance mechanisms, water affordability, environmental health, water infrastructure planning and reinvestment, innovative water quality solutions, green infrastructure techniques, cybersecurity strategy, and communication practices.

The conference will include expert speakers from across the country, as well as an opportunity for conversations with federal, state, and local officials.
