The Michigan House Democratic caucus announced they will be holding statewide health care town halls in August and September, following a town hall meeting on July 17, which launched the series of stops. They will be discussing the Michigan Health Care Bill of Rights, a resolution that was introduced and signed by every member of their caucus.

Additionally, the Michigan Progressive Women’s Caucus announced their Summer 2017 Listening Tour. The statewide tour is meant as an opportunity for legislators to hear from residents about concerns they may have regarding policies, as well as challenges they face in their community. Each tour stop will include an open mic session, small group conversations, and information tables. The two July tours were held this week in Oakland County and Detroit.
