This week, the Talent Investment Agency (TIA) announced a restructuring they hope will allow the agency to be more effective and responsive to Michigan residents and employers. The plan is due to the top-to-bottom review of the agency, which Director Wanda Stokes has been conducting since her appointment in July 2016. As a result of the restructuring, the number of staff in the field working with residents and employers will expand. The restructuring is expected to affect twenty-one management positions and other positions may be affected as employees exercise seniority rights.
