Senator Stabenow Selected to Leadership Team

This week, U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) was appointed to serve as Chair of the Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, the number four spot in the caucus. She is replacing Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) who has been elected the new minority leader. Additionally, Senator Stabenow will continue to serve as the ranking Democratic member on the Agriculture Committee. She has served as one of Michigan’s Senators since 2001.
