Senate Majority Leader Announces Staff Changes

Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof (R-West Olive) has announced several changes to his staff. In addition to recently naming Craig Ryan as his new Chief of Staff, Meekhof has announced that Scott Hughes will serve as General Counsel and Deputy Chief of staff, a promotion from his prior role of Majority Counsel. Jennifer Merchant has been appointed Legislative Director, having previously worked in the office of former House Floor Leader, Aric Nesbitt. Taking over as Deputy Legislative Director will be Connor Spalding, who began his career in the office of former Majority Leader Randy Richardville as an intern and has since worked in every role in the office. Lastly, former State Representative Amanda Price will serve as District Director for the 30^th Senate District, represented by Senate Majority Leader Meekhof.
