Senate Insurance Committee Adds Member

On Thursday, the Senate adopted a resolution amending the standing rules of the Senate in order to add an additional member, Senator Jim Marleau, onto the Senate Insurance Committee. With the addition, the committee is now comprised of ten members. The full roster is as follows:

•   Senator Joe Hune (R-Whitmore Lake), Chair
•   Senator Jack Brandenburg (R-Harrison Twp.), Vice Chair
•   Senator Wayne Schmidt (R-Traverse City)
•   Senator Margaret O’Brien (R-Portage)
•   Senator Ken Horn (R-Frankenmuth)
•   Senator Rick Jones (R-Grand Ledge)
•   Senator Jim Marleau (R-Lake Orion)
•   Senator Steve Bieda (D-Warren), Minority Vice Chair
•   Senator Bert Johnson (D-Highland Park)
•   Senator Coleman Young II (D-Detroit)
