Senate Democratic Caucus Announces Leadership Team

Today, incoming Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids) announced the leadership team for the upcoming term, beginning in January. Last week, the Democratic Caucus elected Senator Brinks as their leader, along with incoming Senator Sam Singh (D-East Lansing) as the Majority Floor Leader. The remaining members serving in leadership will be:

- Senate Appropriations Chair – Senator-elect Sarah Anthony (D-Lansing)
- President Pro Tempore – Senator Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield)
- Assistant Majority Leader – Senator-elect Darrin Camilleri (D-Trenton)
- Majority Whip – Senator Mallory McMorrow (D-Royal Oak)
- Majority Caucus Chair – Senator Dayna Polehanki (D-Livonia)
- Policy and Steering Chair – Senator Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit)

As we shared earlier, Kathleen O’Reilly Farhat will serve as chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader-Elect Brinks.
