District Overview

The 68^th House District is located in Ingham County and includes Lansing Township and a portion of the City of Lansing.

Commentary

Former Representative Andy Schor (D) resigned from the State House following his election as Mayor of the City of Lansing. The district has a 73% Democratic base, making the Democratic primary race the important one for this seat. Candidate Sarah Anthony has received Mayor Andy Schor’s endorsement for this seat. This race is for a full two-year term beginning on January 1, 2018.
