District Overview

The 48^th House District is located in Genesee County. The district includes Clio, Davison, Montrose, and the Townships of Davison, Forest, Genesee, Montrose, Richfield, Thetford, and Vienna.

Commentary

Representative Pam Faris (D) is serving her third and final term in this seat, leaving it open. The district has a 50.27% Democratic base, making both the primary and general election races important in this district.
