District Overview

The 34^th House District contains portions of Lenawee County in southeast Michigan.

Commentary

This district has a 56% Republican base, thus, the winner of the Republican primary this August will likely win in November. Senator Dale Zorn is running for the seat, after serving two terms in the Senate and two prior House terms. He’s running against two candidates in the primary race who don’t have campaign experience, giving him an edge in the race.

- Julie Moore – Nurse
- Ryan Rank – Retired fire chief
- Senator Dale Zorn – State senator, former state representative, Monroe County commissioner, ran the family automotive business.
