District Overview

The 13^th House District is located in Wayne County. The district includes Allen Park, Southgate, and a portion of Dearborn Heights.

Commentary

Due to term limits, Representative Frank Liberati is serving his final term in office, leaving this seat open. The district has a 55% Democratic base. Representative Liberati’s younger brother is one of the candidates in the Democratic primary race for this seat.

In 2016, President Trump received 49.33% of the vote, while in 2018 Governor Whitmer received 59.40% of the vote.

- Timothy Estheimer – Small business owner, chairman of the Allen Park Downtown Development Authority, Southgate School Board member
- Tullio Liberati – Small business owner
