Next Tuesday, voters in 65 counties across Michigan will head to the polls. This will be the first election where the changes under Proposal 3 of 2018 will be in effect. For the first time, voters in Michigan can utilize no-reason absentee voting and early voting. Mailed-in applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 3. Or voters can drop off their application in person by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 6. Additionally, under the proposal residents can now register to vote in person up until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
