At their state convention last week, the Michigan Republican Party elected a new state party chair. Ron Weiser will serve as the new chair, a post he’s previously held two times. He currently serves on the University of Michigan Board of Regents. Among other jobs, he served as Ambassador to the Slovak Republican from 2001-2005.
