Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Tapped for National Role

It was announced this week that the Republican National Committee (RNC) has tapped Ronna Romney McDaniel as their next Chair. The announcement comes on the heels of the statement made by President-elect Donald Trump that he intends to support Ms. McDaniel as the next head of the RNC. Current RNC Chair, Reince Priebus, has been named as President-elect Trump’s Chief of Staff.

Ms. McDaniel was elected Chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party in February 2015. She has a Bachelor Degree in English from Brigham Young University.
