Last week, Lt. Governor Brian Calley led a three-day trade mission to Mexico, departing on February 19 and returning on February 22. During the trip, he met with automotive and aerospace companies at Automotive Meetings Queretaro, a supply chain oriented business forum that brings together prospective automotive suppliers with major Mexican OEMS and Tier 1 suppliers. This is the Lt. Governor’s second mission to Mexico since taking office in 2011.
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation concurrently led executives from twenty-one Michigan companies to participate in the automotive forum in Queretaro. This is the third time the MEDC has taken Michigan companies to Queretaro Automotive Meetings.
