The House and Senate are scheduled to hold their typical Tuesday – Thursday session schedule.
On Tuesday, February 27, Michigan Supreme Court Justice McCormack and Chief Appeals Court Judge Talbot will present to the Senate Appropriations Judiciary Subcommittee.
To kick off March is Reading month, Michigan author Jonathan Rand will be at the State Capitol from 11 – 12 p.m. for a meet and greet in room 251.
On February 28, the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus is unveiling a portrait of Michigan’s first African-American legislator, former Representative William Ferguson. The portrait will be hung in the State Capitol Building, outside of the Senate Appropriations Room.
