On Saturday, February 6, ABC News will host a debate with the Republican presidential primary candidates.

On Monday, February 8, the Board of State Canvassers is meeting to decide whether several recall petitions against Governor Rick Snyder state factually and clearly each reason for the recall.

Monday, February 8 is the last day to register to vote in the March 8 presidential primary election. You may register at your local clerk’s office or by mail. The mail-in form is available at www.Michigan.gov/elections . To view your voter registration status or to view your sample ballot, please visit www.Michigan.gov/vote.

The House and Senate are scheduled to hold session Tuesday – Thursday.

The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services will hear testimony on the Healthy Michigan Plan Waiver on Tuesday, February 9.

On Wednesday, February 10, Governor Rick Snyder will present his executive budget recommendations for the 2017 Fiscal Year. That afternoon, MLC will have a full recap of his proposal posted on our blog.

Michigan Natural Resources Commissioners will hold “Coffee with the Commissioners” on Thursday, February 11 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Lodge Conference Room at the Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit.

On Thursday, February 11, PBS News Hour will host a debate with the Democratic presidential primary candidates.
