February 10 -11, the Michigan Republican Party will hold their 2017 State Convention at the Lansing Center. Among other elections, the party will elect a new State Chair.
The Michigan Democratic Party will hold their 2017 State Convention on February 11 at the Cobo Center in Detroit. They will also elect their State Chair.
The House and Senate are scheduled to hold session Tuesday – Thursday.
On Tuesday, February 14, Heidi Grether, Director of the Department of Environmental Quality, will present to the House Appropriations Environmental Quality Subcommittee on the executive budget recommendations.
On Wednesday, February 15, the House Natural Resources Committee will hear a department overview presentation from Director of the Department of Natural Resources, Keith Creagh.
On Wednesday, February 15, the House Agriculture Committee will hear a presentation by Jamie Clover-Adams, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. She will also present to the House Appropriations Agriculture and Rural Development Subcommittee on Thursday, February 16.
