Looking Ahead to the Week of December 12 – 18

On Monday, December 14, the Board of State Canvassers will meet to consider if recall petitions submitted against Governor Rick Snyder and Senator Wayne Schmidt (R-Traverse City) state factually and clearly each reason for recall.

On Tuesday, December 15, the House, Senate and Governor Rick Snyder will issue special recognition for MLC client, the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, in acknowledgement of their 20^th anniversary of federal recognition as a tribal government.

The House and Senate are scheduled to hold session Tuesday – Thursday. This will be the final week they are scheduled to hold session in 2015. The next scheduled session day is January 13, 2016.

CNN is hosting the fifth presidential primary debate for the Republican candidates on Tuesday, December 15 in Las Vegas. It will air on CNN beginning at 9 p.m.
