House Democratic Caucus Adds to Leadership Team

During a recent caucus gathering, the House Democrats elected two additional members to their leadership team. Representative Sarah Anthony (D-Lansing) will continue serving as the Caucus Chair, a role she first began last term. Representative Anthony is serving her second full term in the House. Prior to that she worked as a legislative assistant, deputy director with the Michigan College Access Network, and was elected to the Ingham County Board of Commissioners.

Representative Matt Koleszar (D-Plymouth) will serve as the Democratic Whip. He previously served as Assistant Leader last term. This is Representative. Koleszar’s second term serving in the House. Prior to that he worked as a teacher and coach, as well as president of the Airport Education Association in Carleton.
