Governor Makes Appointment to Circuit Court

On Monday, Governor Rick Snyder appointed Paul Cusick to the 3^rd Circuit Court in Wayne County, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Maria Oxholm. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division. He previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Judge Cusick earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Wayne State University Law School. He must seek election in November 2018 for a full six-year term.
