Governor Launches “Planet M” Campaign

This week at the Mackinac Policy Conference, Governor Rick Snyder announced the launch of the “Planet M” campaign, a consortium representing the public and private sectors, non-governmental organizations, and academic institutions. The goal of the campaign is to elevate Michigan as the hub of mobility innovations, with the expectation of more business investment and jobs. The Governor hopes to grow high-profile business sectors, including technology and services, enabling the state to be a leader in the reinvention of the transportation industry. The Planet M campaign is part of an overall effort to promote the state’s business ecosystem assets in the smart mobility sector on a national level.
