On Wednesday, Governor Rick Snyder appointed Rachael Eubanks to serve as the third member of the state’s Public Service Commission. She is the director of public finance for Robert W. Baird & Co and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. Ms. Eubanks will serve the remainder of John Quackenbush’s term, who left the commission earlier this year. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
The three-member commission provides regulatory oversight of the state’s utilities, while working to ensure safe and reliable energy and telecommunication services. For more information on the commission, please visit http://www.michigan.gov/mpsc/.
