A Memorandum of Understanding that has Michigan partnering with Ontario on how mobility technologies can improve the movement of people and goods across the border was signed today by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Canadian province’s officials.
As part of the agreement, both the state of Michigan and the Canadian province have sent out a request for proposal for businesses with ideas on how to analyze the economic potential of expanded border capacity and the benefits of moving toward more advanced automotive and smart mobility solutions at the international border.
