On Thursday, Governor Rick Snyder announced the appointment of Dick Posthumus as his chief of staff. Mr. Posthumus is a former state legislator and lieutenant governor, and has served as Governor Snyder’s senior advisor since he took office six years ago. He takes over for former chief of staff, Jared Agen, who announced his resignation last week.
In addition to Mr. Posthumus’ promotion, Governor Snyder is also promoting Darin Ackerman to serve as the new Director of Legislative Affairs. He has served as the Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs since 2011.
