This week, Governor Rick Snyder announced leadership changes in both the Talent Investment Agency (TIA) and the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). Serving as the new Director of TIA will be Wanda Stokes. Currently, Ms. Stokes serves as Deputy Director at LARA. Prior to that, she worked in the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Practice Group and was Division Chief for Licensing and Regulation. She will be replacing Stephanie Comai, current Director of TIA, who is heading to LARA as part of a new leadership team headed by Shelly Edgerton, who became Director of LARA in April. Prior to her time at TIA, Ms. Comai was Deputy Director at LARA.
