General Election Results

The below information is current as of 12:48 p.m.., November 4.

While votes continue to be counted, some competitive seats are being called. Below please find the winning candidate in those seats, however, please keep in mind that absentee ballots are still being counted and these results could change. Election results aren’t final until certified by the Board of State Canvassers.

Additionally, House Republicans are stating they have won enough state House races to retain their majority.

20th House District – This 53% Republican district is in Wayne County and includes Northville and Plymouth.

    • Democratic Representative Matt Koleszar

23rd House District – This 53% Republican district is in Wayne County and includes Gibraltar, Trenton, Woodhaven, Brownstown Township, Grosse Ile Township and Huron Township.

    • Democratic Representative Darrin Camilleri

25th House District – This 51% Republican district is in Macomb County and includes part of Sterling Heights and part of Warren.

    • Democratic candidate Nate Shannon

38th House District – This 57% Republican district is in Oakland County and includes Northville, Novi, South Lyon, Walled Lake, Lyon Township and Novi Township.

    • Democratic candidate Kelly Breen

39th House District – This 54% Republican district is in Oakland County and includes Wixom, Commerce Township and part of West Bloomfield Township.

    • Republican Representative Ryan Berman

43rd House District – This 62% Republican district is in Oakland County and includes Lake Angelus, Village of Clarkston, Independence Township and part of Waterford Township.

    • Republican Representative Andrea Schroeder

48th House District – This 50% Republican and 50 % Democratic split district is in part of Genesee County

    • Republican candidate David Martin unseated incumbent Representative Sheryl Kennedy

61st House District – This 53% Republican district is in part of Kalamazoo County.

    • Democratic candidate Christine Morse

62nd House District – This 50.2% Democratic district is in part of Calhoun County.

    • Democratic Representative Jim Haadsma

71st House District – This 52% Republican district is in part of Eaton County.

    • Democratic Representative Angela Witwer

72nd House District – This 60% Republican district is in part of Allegan and part of Kent Counties.

    • Republican candidate Steven Johnson

73rd House District – This 65% Republican district is in part of Kent County.

    • Republican candidate Bryan Posthumus

79th House District – This 57% Republican district is in part of Berrien County.

    • Republican Representative Pauline Wendzel

91st House District – This 57% Republican district is in part of Muskegon County.

    • Republican Representative Greg VanWoerkom

96th House District – This 50% Democratic and 50 % Republican split district is in part of Bay County.

    • Republican candidate Timothy Beson unseated incumbent Representative Brian Elder

98th House District – This 61% Republican district is in part of Bay and part of Midland Counties.

    • Republican Representative Annette Glenn

104th House District – This 60% Republican district is in Grand Traverse County.

    • Republican candidate John Roth

110th House District – This 60% Republican district is in Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Ontonagon and part of Marquette Counties.
