District Overview
This west Michigan district is located in Kent County and includes Wyoming, and portions of Grand Rapids and Byron Township.
Commentary
In another near 50/50 split seat, the Democratic Party has the slightest advantage with a 50.6% base. Although the district is competitive, Democratic candidate John Fitzgerald has served on city council since 2020, providing some experience governing and campaigning which helps with name recognition.
