District Overview

The 78^th House District is located in Berrien and Cass Counties.

Commentary

Representative Dave Pagel (R) is term limited from running for reelection in this seat. The district has a 61% Republican base and the base has been growing stronger for Republicans, making this seat a tough pickup for the Democratic candidate this fall.
