General Election Overview: 72nd House District

District Overview

The 72^nd House District includes portions of Genesee, Livingston, and Oakland Counties. The district encompasses Fenton, Linden, Fenton Township, Holly Township, and Rose Township, and portions of Grand Blanc Township, Mundy Township, and Tyrone Township.

Commentary

The popular Representative Mueller is running for his third term in the House, in a slightly different district, due to redistricting, and has the edge in this district with a 53% Republican base.
