District Overview
The 31st House District includes portions of Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties.
Commentary
The Democratic Party has a 53% base, giving them a slight edge in this seat. The party’s candidate, Reggie Miller, serves on local government and is seen as a strong candidate. She is facing a political newcomer, Dale Biniecki, in the race this November. This seat is another one on the watch list of races to keep an eye on as the Democratic Party works to gain the majority in the House.
