District Overview
The 28th House District includes portions of Monroe and Wayne Counties in southeast Michigan.
Commentary
The Democratic Party has a slight advantage in this open seat, with a 52% base. Neither of the two candidates have previously run for political office. Given the close partisan makeup, the fact that it’s an open seat, and the lack of campaign experience amongst the candidates, this will be a race to watch this November.
