District Overview

The 25^th House District is located in Macomb County and includes portions of Sterling Heights and Warren.

Commentary

Democratic Representative Nate Shannon is running for his second term in office in this slightly Republican base district that President Trump overperformed in during the 2016 election. The district has a 51% Republican base. In 2016 President Trump received 55.01% of the vote, while in 2018 Governor Whitmer received 53.36% of the vote.
