Members in the Michigan House of Representatives have formed a new caucus aimed at lowering energy costs. The Affordable Energy Caucus will be chaired by Representative John Reilly (R-Oakland) and serving as vice chair will be Representative Rose Mary Robinson (D-Detroit). The caucus also includes Representative Gary Glenn (R-Williams Township), who chairs the House Energy Policy Committee, along with other legislators.
The caucus plans to meet monthly to discuss the financial impact of energy policy and proposed legislation, and work to develop ways to encourage growth and keep rates low.
