Democratic State Convention Taking Place

On Saturday, April 9, the Michigan Democratic Party will hold its 2022 State Endorsement Convention to nominate candidates for the general election this November. While the convention is being held at Huntington Place in Detroit, it will have a live stream viewing option and remote voting. The candidates are as follows:

- Secretary of State
  - Jocelyn Benson is seeking her second term in office
- Attorney General
  - Dana Nessel is seeking her second term in office
- Michigan Supreme Court
  - Justice Richard Bernstein is seeking his second term in office, having been first elected in 2014
  - Representative Kyra Harris Bolden is seeking her first term on the bench after serving two terms in the Michigan House of Representatives
- Michigan Board of Education
  - Pamela L. Pugh is seeking her second term on the board
  - Mitchell Robinson is seeking his first term on the board
