On Thursday, the House Democratic Caucus met privately to elect their party leadership for the 2017-2018 legislative term. On the heels of Tuesday’s election, for which the House Republicans retained their 63-47 majority going into the new session, House Democratic Leader Representative Tim Greimel (D-Auburn Hills) chose not to run for reelection.
