Last Friday, the Michigan Agency for Energy issued a Clean Energy Manufacturing Roadmap, a collaborative effort between the state of Michigan and Northeast Ohio. It focuses on developing strategies for advancing the energy efficient building technology cluster and developing technology roadmaps for several energy intensive, clean energy manufacturing processes in order to reduce the energy cost of these processes.
The Michigan section within the plan outlines three goals: strengthening research and development, strengthening the energy efficiency value chain, and increasing deployment efforts.
