Changes to Procurement System Take Effect July 31

For MLC clients working in the procurement system, please take note, the State of Michigan’s new procurement system will take effect July 31. Those wishing to do business with the State of Michigan will need to register in the new SIGMA VSS system. However, if you are currently receiving payments through the State of Michigan Contract and Payment Express (C&PE), your information will be transferred to the new SIGMA system. There will be a transition period between the SIGMA VSS and Buy4Michigan sits from July 31, 2017-September 30, 2017. To visit the new State of Michigan SIGMA VSS website, please click here.

Important information for vendors:

Registration for the new system begins July 31.You can set options to receive information about payments and bid or grant opportunities.
Beginning July 31, all bid opportunities will be posted on SIGMA VSS.
On October 2, new opportunities for business activities will be posted on SIGMA VSS only.

Key dates:

July 31 – online training information available
July 31 – create your account
September 20 – Payments due by this date will be available in C&PE
July 31 – September 30 – Bid opportunities are available through SIGMA VSS and Buy4Michigan
October 2 – New payments with payment information is available in SIGMA VSS; C&PE no longer available for update; and grant opportunities available.
