District Overview

The 67^th House District includes portions of Genesee, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties.

Commentary

This district has a 53% Republican base. Representative Phil Green is running for his third term in office, in a packed Republican primary race. Redistricting placed him in a new district, which only includes a very small portion of his prior district, thus lowering the benefit of name-recognition amongst voters.
