House Committee Changes Announced

Following the resignation of former Representative Abdullah Hammoud (D-Hamtramck) after being elected Dearborn Mayor, House Speaker Jason Wentworth (R-Farwell) announced the following committee changes:

    • Representative Julie Rogers (D-Kalamazoo) will serve on the Appropriations Committee and the Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy Subcommittee
    • Representative Amos O’Neal (D-Saginaw) will serve on the Health and Human Services Subcommittee
    • Representative Samantha Steckloff (D-Farmington Hills) will serve on the Higher Education and Community Colleges Subcommittee
    • Representative Joe Tate (D-Detroit) will replace Representative Steckloff on the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Insurance and Financial Services Subcommittee
