General Election Absentee Ballot Data Released

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson released ballot data from the election last month, which she states demonstrates the integrity of Michigan’s election. Of the 3.3 million absentee ballots cast, 15,300 were rejected for a variety of reasons, which accounts for 0.46% of ballots. Reasons for rejection include the lack of a signature, the ballot arrived after the deadline, or the voter moved to another jurisdiction prior to election day.
