Governor to Continue National Leadership Role

This week, it was announced that Governor Gretchen Whitmer will serve a second term on the National Governors Association’s Executive Committee, a role she has been in since last year. “I’m pleased to continue in the coming year as a member of the Executive Committee for the National Governors Association and appreciate the support of my fellow governors during this key time for the organization,” said Governor Whitmer.

The 2020-2021 NGA Executive Committee includes:

- Governor Andrew Cuomo, New York – Chair
- Governor Asa Hutchinson, Arkansas – Vice Chair
- Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan
- Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, New Mexico
- Governor Jared Polis, Colorado
- Governor Larry Hogan, Maryland
- Governor Charlie Baker, Massachusetts
- Governor Gary Herbert, Utah
- Governor Kay Ivey, Alabama
