The North American International Auto Show held in Detroit will take place January 11-24, with the public show beginning on January 16. For more information, please visit http://naias.com/.

On Tuesday, January 12 from noon to 2 p.m. the Governor’s Recycling Council will hold a meeting at Lansing Community College. Public comments will be received from 2 – 3 p.m. The registration deadline to participate either in person or via webinar is January 8. The House and Senate are scheduled to be in session on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Thursday, January 14, the bi-annual Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference will be held at 9 a.m. in Lansing. Leadership in the House and Senate will use the economic forecasts and revenue estimates presented at the conference to draft the state budgets for the upcoming 2016 – 2017 Fiscal Year. MLC will post detailed information on the conference on our blog that afternoon.
