MLC President Elected to Leadership Role in National Association

Sep 13, 2019

The National Association of State Lobbyists (NASL) just concluded its annual conference, and MLC’s Tim Ward and Brendan Ringlever attended as the organization’s Michigan members.

NASL’s mission and focus is ethics and the professional development of its members as state lobbyists. This year’s conference saw Tim, who was already a board member, elected to Secretary and member of the group’s Executive Committee for a two-year term.

“I was fortunate to be invited to join this group five years ago. It’s comprised of individuals from all fifty states who are committed to the ethical practice of lobbying and to be the best in their field and consider it an honor to serve the members in my new capacity” said Ward.

Brendan observed, “Since becoming a member, I’ve seen the contributions Tim has made to NASL, so it was nice to see him recognized by our peers again, this time being elected Secretary.”

Tim joins NASL’s other new officers, President, Trish Hart of Arizona, Vice President Ryan Haynie of Louisiana, and re-elected as Treasurer, Jason Kreizenbeck of Idaho.
