The Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) is close to finalizing how they will select delegates for the 2020 national convention. For the next thirty-days, the MDP will take public comments, questions, and concerns regarding the plan. After the comment period has completed, the Delegate Selection Plan will be submitted to the Michigan Democratic State Central Committee for final revisions and submission to the Democratic National Convention Committee for review and approval. Michigan’s Democratic presidential primary will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The Democratic National Convention will be held on July 13 – 16, 2020.
