General Election Overview: 20th House District

District Overview

The 20^th House District is located in Wayne County, including Northville, Plymouth, Plymouth Township, and portions of Northville and Canton Township.

Commentary

Republican Representative Jeff Noble is seeking re-election to this seat. This district has a 53% Republican base. The incumbent is up against a local school teacher who hasn’t run for public office before, however, despite his lack of elected experience, this is a key race being targeted by Democrats.

Democratic Candidate:

Matt Koleszar – Public school teacher, president of the Airport Education Association, sports coach

Republican Candidate:

Jeff Noble – State Representative, former pastor, worked in management, purchasing, and sales
