The House and Senate are scheduled to hold their typical Tuesday – Thursday session schedule.

On Tuesday, January 23, Governor Rick Snyder will give his eighth and final State of the State address at 7 p.m. Following the address, MLC will post a full recap of the speech on our blog.

On Wednesday, January 24, the House and Senate Michigan Competitiveness Committees will hold a joint hearing on Michigan’s Economic Competitiveness.

Friday, January 26 is Michigan Statehood Day!

It was announced this week that Governor Rick Snyder will present his Executive Budget recommendations on Wednesday, February 7. As always, we will have a full recap on our blog, following the 11 a.m. presentation.
