House Committee Membership Changes Announced

This week, House Speaker Tom Leonard (R-DeWitt) announced the members who will fill the committee seats left vacant following the resignation of former Representative Brian Banks last week.  Below are the appointments:

  • Representative Tim Greimel (D-Auburn Hills) – House Insurance Committee Minority Vice Chair (he already served on the committee, but he took over the leadership post)
  • Representative Abdullah Hammoud (D-Dearborn) – House Insurance Committee
  • Representative Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield) – House Joint Committee on Administrative Rules
  • Representative Terry Sabo (D-Muskegon) – House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
