On August 26 – 27, the Michigan Republican Party is holding their convention in Grand Rapids. At the convention, the party will be nominating two candidates each for the Michigan Supreme Court and the State Board of Education. Additionally, they will nominate two candidates each for the Wayne State University Board of Governors, the Michigan State University Board of Trustees, and the University Board of Regents.
